Class Description:
Khefri will bring you the most up to date information on Newborn Care. Newborn class will include hands on practice, ample reading material, discussion and video's to review. Join us for a informative and empowering class to ready you for parenthood. Swaddling, diapering, soothing, breast/chestfeeding, bottle feeding, developmental needs, post-partum recovery and more!
Khefri has over 18 years experience as a birth doula, post-partum doula, infant care specialist and childbirth educator. She loves to help birthing families prepare for birth, care for their infants, breast/chestfeed/nurse/infant feed successfully and recover holistically in the post-partum period.
In addition to being a mother to 20 year old son Zen, Khefri is a Certified Lactation Educator Counselor, trained with D.O.N.A (Doulas of North America), is a Certified Pre-Natal Yoga Teacher (Golden Bridge Yoga), Certified Itsy Bitsy Yoga Facilitator, and Certified Yoga Ed. Instructor. Her classes have been featured in People Magazine, NBC and on Fox Ch. 11 News.
Khefri has taught thousands of parents, mothers, fathers, and babies the joys of natural childbirth, post-partum recovery, breastfeeding and yoga. Sharing her multi-disciplinary knowledge with others, she leads large group trainings for parents, teachers, healthcare professionals and educators.
Refund Policy
Parent Education classes are a fee for service program based on limited confirmed enrollment and secured fees. A minimum amount of attendees must be enrolled for classes to take place. Please choose your classes carefully. Therefore, our childbirth class policies are applied uniformly and without exception. We require a 48-hour cancellation for refunds. There will be a $50.00 administration fee for cancellations. There are NO REFUNDS if you miss the class. We will fit you in to the next scheduled session if possible.
Mothers/Birthing people placed on complete bed rest may make-up the class when released from bed rest or make arrangements for a private in home class. (Additional fees will be charged for an in home class). Please have a letter from your doctor to allow you to take a class or be more mobile.
Due to the nature of our business where a baby may arrive early, we will try and help you in any way we can, however the refund policy is without exception.
